I think your initial integration ideas are right on track -- how empowering it would be for your students to push beyond the classroom walls and to teach others. One bit of leverage you may have in advocating for the use of these tools is their obvious impact in the workplace. So many of the compelling arguments and statistics about the need for 21st century skills are competing and succeeding in a global economy... But then there's that fear... Wow. The challenges — including the fear — you describe are all too familiar.
